Welcome to Robou Aldar (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Robou Aldar website and services (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use our Platform.
1. Platform Overview
Robou Aldar connects Hosts who list properties for short-term rentals with Guests seeking accommodations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). We are not a property owner or manager.
2. Eligibility
To use the Platform:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under UAE law.
- Use of the Platform must comply with all applicable UAE laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) regulations in Dubai.
3. User Accounts
- You must register to use certain features.
- Provide accurate, complete, and updated information.
- Keep your password confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Bookings and Payments
- All bookings are made via our Platform and are subject to availability and acceptance by the Host.
- Payments must be made through our secure payment system.
- Cancellation policies are defined by Hosts and must be reviewed before booking.
- Robou Aldar may charge a service fee for each booking, which will be disclosed at checkout.
5. Host Responsibilities
Hosts must:
- Ensure listings are accurate and up-to-date.
- Comply with all UAE laws, including licensing, registration, and tax obligations.
- Not discriminate against any Guest based on nationality, religion, gender, or other protected status under UAE law.
6. Guest Responsibilities
Guests must:
- Respect the Host’s property and house rules.
- Not engage in illegal activities, including subletting or unlicensed events.
- Pay for damages beyond normal wear and tear.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
- Refunds are processed according to the Host’s cancellation policy.
- Robou Aldar reserves the right to intervene in disputes and issue refunds at its sole discretion if necessary to protect platform integrity.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited under UAE law.
- Misrepresent themselves or post false content.
- Circumvent fees or conduct transactions off-platform.
9. Liability and Disclaimer
- Robou Aldar is not liable for disputes between Guests and Hosts.
- The Platform is provided “as-is” without warranties.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- In no case shall Robou Aldar’s liability exceed the amount paid to us by the user in the previous 12 months.
10. Termination
Robou Aldar may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, particularly for violations of these Terms.
11. Dispute Resolution
Disputes shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any legal action must be filed in the courts of Dubai, unless otherwise agreed.
12. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
13. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the new Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
